Law is one of the professions which is admired by the students. It is one of the pillar of India democracy system or known by the other name which is judicial system. It is divided into two parts the one is superior judiciary system and other one is subordinate judiciary system by the constitution of India. The supreme court and high court comes under the superior judiciary system and the lower courts like district and others comes under suboridnate judiciary system. In India, there are twenty four high courts. The law system which students study are of five types :

Also, students take part in those internship with full dedication and joy. Below is the list of the internship which is provided by the government departments.
Online Government Internships Program For Law Students 2021
Internship In Law Commission of India
This is executive body and establish under the government of India. The role of this body is to look and work for the reforms which are legal.
Also, this department provide opportunities for the students who want to become a part of it. Or understand and recognize the work of this department.
The internship provided by this department occur in two sessions. The first session is summer session and the time period of it is in the month of (May to June) and the other one is winter session and the time period of it is in month of (November to December).
The students are pursing and those who are completed their graduation are eligible for this internship. The duration of this internship is of four weeks.
The certificate will be provided in the end of the internship which is approved by the law commission of India.
Internship In In PRS Legislative
This department offers internships throughout the year for the students who are pursuing law. In this, there is a specific team in which different members of the different departments come under and understand the demand and reformed in the policies of law.
The one team is a research team that analyses and amends the issues in the policies of law. And another team is the outreach team which look for the working of and legislators. And also control and manage the engagement of MLAs and MPs with the PRS’s.
The internship occurs in two parts, one is session time and the other one is non-session time. In the session time, the role of the intern is to understand and analyze the issues which are occurring at the time of parliament meetings along with handle the projects with the senior.
In the non-session time, the role of the interns is to do tasks that are specified by the senior or the head of the internship.
This is an unpaid internship and there will be no recommendation letter will be provided to the students. Also, the duration of the internship is of four weeks and can be extended up to six-eight weeks as per the demand of the project.
Through this internship, students will work under the PRS and help them in research and their projects.
Internship In Institute of Legislative Drafting and Research, Ministry of law and Justice
This ministry will provide internship to the students who are in law field. Through this internship they will understand the work of the legislative department of India.
The reason to provide this internship, is to motivate the youth so they can take part in the drafting the legislation.
The students who have passed out and in last year are eligible for this internship even the PhD pursuing students can apply for it.
The duration of this internship is variable which can be for four weeks and can be extended for six weeks. There is only five students who will going to selected for this internship so the competition going to be high for it.
The role of the interns is to do research and study the work of the department. Along with, in the end of internship students need to prepare the report of the work that will be analyse and check by the head of their internship.
Students work in the time of internship will be the property of ministry of law and justice and students are allowed to use the library for their own needs and work.
There is no stipend will be provided to the students and students can apply for it by visiting the official website of ministry of law and justice.
Internship In In Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC)
It is established by the high court under the supervision of Cheif justice Mr Justice Ajit Prakash Shah on the year, 2009. It is an institution that is organized to handle the cases with the arbitration.
Through this, the settlement of the disputes cases finishes with a low cost and in less time. This department also provides an internship programme for law students who want to see and understand the exposure to court cases.
The duration of the internship programme is a maximum of four weeks and can be extended for six weeks also. There is no stipend will be provided for the students who will apply for the internship.
At the end of the internship, students get the certificate which is approved by the department of DIAC.
Internship In Centre for Law and Urban Development, NLU Delhi
This department will provide internships for the students who are pursuing law. The students who are in last year or even completed their law can apply for this internship.
The duration of the internship is four weeks and can be extended as per the projects and also on the performance of the students.
There is no stipend that will be given to the students at the time period of internship. At the end, of the internship students get the internship certificate and in exceptional cases, the letter of recommendation will be provided to some students.
